optimize

Find what makes the interface slow, fix it, and measure the result.

Use optimize when a page loads slowly, scrolling stutters, or actions take too long to respond. Impeccable investigates the bottleneck and changes the implementation to improve the experience.

Try it

/impeccable optimize the reports page. It feels slow to open on a phone, especially on a poor connection.

Describe the delay and who encounters it. Include measurements if you have them; you don’t need to diagnose the cause before asking.

How it works

Impeccable measures the current behavior, identifies the expensive work, and focuses on the changes that matter:

  • Loading: prioritize what the page needs first and defer optional work.
  • Interactions and rendering: reduce unnecessary updates and work that delays input or scrolling.
  • Images, fonts, and code: check asset sizes, loading order, unused dependencies, and opportunities to load less.
  • Motion and layout stability: address stuttering effects and content that jumps as resources arrive.

Illustrated loading change: defer an optional chart’s code until it is needed. This reduces work on arrival; the effect on speed needs measurement.

Measure before and after under comparable conditions. The result should show what improved and whether the original delay remains. A useful comparison also checks that a faster load hasn’t made the next interaction frustratingly slow.

Check the result

Repeat the slow task on a representative device and connection. Check that the page still works, content remains accessible, and the design has been preserved. If it already feels fast and the measurements support that, another optimization pass may add little.

What do LCP, INP, and CLS mean?
  • LCP: how long the largest visible image or text block takes to appear.
  • INP: how quickly the page responds visually to interactions such as clicks and taps.
  • CLS: how much visible content shifts unexpectedly as the page runs.

These measurements help locate problems. Compare them alongside the task people actually need to complete.
