impeccable

Describe what you want to make or improve.

impeccable is the main command for design work. Use it to build something new, improve an existing page, or work out what to do next. You do not need to know which specialist command fits.

If your app looks obviously AI-generated and you cannot explain why, start there. Impeccable can help identify what feels wrong and work through a better direction with you.

Try it

Give it an outcome and a target:

/impeccable this dashboard looks generic and the important numbers are hard to find. Give it a clearer hierarchy and more character, while keeping our existing brand colors.

Or build something new:

/impeccable design a signup page for our monthly book club. Help someone understand the next event and reserve a seat.

Mention what must stay, such as product facts, an established visual style, or the behavior of an existing feature. Ordinary language is enough.

For new designs, you can review a mockup first or build directly in code. Enable image generation to use mockups. For focused changes to a page you already have, see Improve an existing design.

How it works

  • Understand the job: read the project context and the surface you named. Ask about decisions that would materially change the result.
  • Choose an approach: use a specialist command where it fits, or work across layout, type, content, and interaction together.
  • Resolve the direction: preserve the existing design for a focused refinement. For new work or a redesign, help you choose the direction before building.
  • Build and check: implement the work, inspect the result where tools allow, and check the behavior that matters to the task.

Impeccable considers what people came to do. A page selling a product, a screen for daily work, and a reading experience need different design choices. You can describe that situation without learning the names of its design modes.

Your brief sets the direction. Bring a strong reference, an unusual idea, or a constraint you care about. Impeccable should help make that work, not replace it with a familiar template.

Not sure where to start?

Run the command on its own:

/impeccable

Impeccable looks at the project and recommends a few next steps with reasons. It waits for your choice before starting the suggested work.

For example, it might suggest a critique of a page that has not been reviewed, a focused polish pass on recent changes, or documenting an established visual system. If product context is missing, setup is one of the recommendations.

Do I need to run init first?

Starting with init helps save the project’s audience, purpose, and constraints. New design work needs that context; Impeccable will help capture it when it is missing.

You can still ask for a small improvement to existing code. Missing setup files do not automatically mean the current design must be replaced or that every refinement has to stop for setup.

Use document separately to record a visual system you want future work to follow. Init saves product context; it does not automatically write DESIGN.md.

Can I make a shortcut for a command I use often?

Pin a command to add a standalone shortcut in your coding tool:

/impeccable pin critique

The shortcut delegates to Impeccable, so it follows updates to the main skill. To remove it:

/impeccable unpin critique

Use shape when you want a plan before any implementation, critique for a design review, or generate to name an element and compare variations in the browser. Live Mode lets you pick and annotate elements yourself.
